Celebrate the new year with our beautiful 2013 cheetah calendar, ADAPTATIONS. The breath taking photos were taken by Frederico Veronesi (www.federicoveronesi.com) and artist Guy Coombs (the spotless cheetah picture). Proceeds go to support Action for Cheetahs research, projects and staff. ||PURCHASE||.
We also have a beautifully written and illustrated children’s book this year to offer our youngest cheetah lovers: Why the Cheetah Hunts at Night.
Find out how the cheetah got his tear lines in this folkloric tale that you will be reading to your children over and over again. This book is written for us by Aunty Kiko and illustrated with rich, expressive watercolor paintings, by skilled artist, Moses Wanjuki. ||PURCHASE||
You can help by Volunteering and/or making a Donation. Donations specifically designated for Action for Cheetahs in Kenya are directed through Project Survival at Cat Haven or CCF for 501©(3) tax deductible status in the USA. Other international donations can be designated directly to ACK through any CCF international institution or through Cheetah Friends Europe (CFE). Semi-annual reports are written for CCF, KWS, partners and donors. ACK seeks local and international partners who wish to support Kenya-specific research, education and community development through funding and collaborative programmes. ACK also partners with Eco-Sys Action and the Wana Duma Children’s Project to expand education and development projects in the primary ACK study areas.
